Yesterday, the Museum of the Sea of ​​San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the second recital to the Virgen del Carmen, kick-off to the program of events of the festival declared of Regional Tourist Interest.
Thus, the authors Jeannine Alcaraz, Santiago R. Hernandez Saez, Ana MAria Raja, Francisco Ferrer Carbonell, Gema Bocardo, Rosa Garcia Oliver, Francisco Javier Illán Vivas, Clara Ferreiro, and the Museum director, José Benito Pérez, recited poems and stories in honor of the patron saint of the men of the Sea.
The recital, presented by Mª José Navarro, had the musical accompaniment of the director of the Municipal School of Music, Juanma Martínez.
Among the numerous public that I enjoy this simple and emotional act was the councilor of culture Mª Carmen Guirao, the councilor for Tourism, Silvia Egea, and members of the brotherhood of Fishermen and the Association of the Virgen del Carmen.
