The Municipal Summer School began on July 1 at the schools Villa Alegría and Maspalomas, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old and with the 225 places offered in this first month occupied. , while in August 163 places are offered.
The Councilor for Education of San Pedro del Pinatar, Carmen Maria Lopez, visited these schools accompanied by Hector Michilot, manager of IDC, company awarded the service, which develops this service with 15 monitors and a complete educational project established for the summer months.
The Municipal Summer School is a project co-financed with the European Social Fund, and aims to promote family and work reconciliation, offering families a place of respite in which their children are served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (upon request) access the service at 8.00.
