The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, visited today the new accessible bathing point in El Mojón beach, endowed with a shaded area, wooden walkway, in addition to a chair and several amphibian crutches available for the loan to people with reduced mobility.
Visitación Martínez explained that this service is completed with the adapted bathrooms and reserved parking areas with which this beach already had.
The beach of El Mojón, bordering the Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales de San Pedro and is the only urban of the Mediterranean, has since 2016 with the blue flag, distinctive quality that this year has added the Q of Tourism Quality.
The mayor highlighted the work that different councils are doing so that San Pedro del Pinatar has accessible, safe and clean beaches with the best possible services.
