The acting president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, participated today in the pilgrimage on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Carmen that is celebrated in the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, "one of the festivals of reference in the Region" , indicated López Miras, who recalled that it is a tradition since 1892 and that it has been declared of Regional Tourist Interest.
"A pilgrimage that takes place on foot and also in the sea, and that brings together thousands of people from San Pedro del Pinatar, from many other places, who have decided to spend their holidays here," said López Miras, who reiterated the regional government's commitment to conservation and the promotion of traditions and culture.
