This street theater festival will take place from August 7 to 9 in squares and streets of the town with outstanding artistic assemblies of diverse genres and companies from different points of the national geography.
The Councilor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mª Carmen Guirao, presented this morning at a press conference, accompanied by the theater producer, Nacho Vilar, the ninth edition of the festival "Sal de Calle", an event that aims to bring Performing arts to all citizens and enjoy free shows at street level.
The Festival, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar, celebrates its ninth edition with three days in which the streets and squares of the town will receive six companies from different parts of the Spanish geography.
The starting gun will be on Wednesday, August 7, at 10:00 p.m. in the Parque del Mar Reyes of Spain, by the company Gonzalo Santamaría (Valencian Community), with The Power of the 80's;
a circus show, juggling, music and humor, awarded at the festivals of Luesia and Killarney (Ireland).
After this performance, at 23:00 hours, Cía.
La Nórdika (Andalucía), will present the standard Red show, Fetén and Lorca awards for the best street show 2018, a poetic and moving show that through the union of the circus and dance has achieved the recognition and enjoyment of thousands of people in An extensive tour of Spain and Europe.
On Thursday, August 8, at 10:00 p.m. the festival arrives in the urban center of San Pedro del Pinatar with a parade with a final in the Plaza España, by L'Estranya Cía (Valencian Community) which, at the rate of Batucats drums will turn the streets into a big party.
To end the day, at 23:00 hours, the Plaza de la Constitución will host the Josafat show of the company Passabarret (Catalonia), a multidisciplinary assembly that last year won the BBVA - Zircólika grand prize for the best show.
On the last day, on Friday, August 9, the festival will start at 10:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución with Áureo, from the Murcia company Uparte, a show with stunts of a high technical level that run in a space in the one that the relationships between objects and people are calculated with precision and argument.
To close the program, Sal de Calle bets this year for a magical show, Floats, by David Moreno and Cristina Calleja, in which a grand piano hung 8 meters from the ground, will be the door to their unique world, where they will discover a exciting love story.
