Last weekend, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of the municipality installed several cost points in San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán, with the aim of collecting funds for prevention programs, help the patient and their families and especially to research.

As is traditional, the association carries out this activity on the first weekend of August, so during the two days in which the campaign took place, the AECC raised 8,575 euros, 550 euros more than last year.

From the Local Board of the AECC, they appreciate the extensive collaboration in this activity, and remember that the money raised is transferred in full to the Regional Board, where it goes to prevention activities, assistance to patients and their families and research.
