The plenary session of the City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar today approved the declaration of special municipal interest of the new Aidemar Complex, which will be built in the town with 60 residential places for people with disabilities.
The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar approved today, unanimously of all the groups, the declaration of the construction works of the Aidemar Complex as of special municipal interest, thus granting them a 95% bonus of the share of the Construction Tax, Facilities and Works (ICIO).
This work will be carried out on a plot of 5,290 square meters assigned by the City Council to the Association for the Integration of the Disabled in the Mar Menor Region (Aidemar) and will be used to build a center with more than 60 residential places for People with disabilities.
The plot is located between Garza Real streets, Los Flamencos avenue and Pablo Picasso Avenue, near the Hotel Thalasia.
AIDEMAR is a non-profit and social purpose entity of our region, declared of public utility since July 27, 1983 and whose main objective is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families through The different resources.
The mayor of the town has highlighted the constant collaboration of the City Council with Aidemar, through different projects and activities always aimed at the integration of people with disabilities.
In addition, he has pointed out the important step forward that this support of the plenary supposes so that construction of this center will begin, which will be an assistance reference in the Mar Menor.
During the plenary session, the General Account for the 2018 financial year has also been unanimously approved for submission to the Court of Auditors, in accordance with current regulations.
