Under the signature "Spooky Delight" the young artist from Cartagena shows her works in which, through various techniques, she reflects that inner world that is revealed in a constant contrast of the sweet and subtle with a darker or sinister part.
The Councilor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mª Carmen Guirao, and the young Cartagena illustrator Natalia Hernández last night opened the exhibition "Cuchicheos infraleves", which can be seen at the Barón de Benifayó municipal museum until September 30.
The exhibition includes a selection of Natalia Hernández's work, which under the signature "spooky delight", brings together dozens of illustrations in the plasma that inner world, those "whispers that we all sometimes have in the head", explained the author.
Thus his work is defined with that constant contrast, delicate or seemingly innocent images that break with elements that lead to a darker and more dark imaginary.
Natalia Hernández (Cartagena, 1987) has a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a Master in Artistic Production.
As an illustrator she has worked for publishing houses and design agencies and for years she has shown her work in several collective and individual exhibitions in Cartagena, Elche or Murcia, among other locations.
