The Councilor for Culture, Mª Carmen Guirao, today presented the program of activities for the last quarter of the year that include theater and entertainment, exhibitions, workshops and courses, music, among other novelties.
The cultural program of San Pedro del Pinatar for the last quarter has as its main themes events such as the Amateur Theater Show or the Allegro Urban Space Music Festival, as well as a wide range of plays, courses and exhibitions at the Casa de la Culture and the municipal museum Barón de Benifayó.
Thus, in the entertainment section, the program starts with the Allegro festival, which this year expands its programming to also reach the children's audience and that will fill the streets and public spaces of the classical music muncipio again.
The theater plays "Anda que no ni ná", by La Petite Producciones, will also be shown in October, on Friday, October 25, and the little ones will be able to enjoy "Bichejos", by Bambalúa Teatro, on Saturday, 26 at 6 pm : 00 hours in the House of Culture.
The same scenario will host on November 2 "The clown", in charge of the Golden Armchair company, which will give way to the IX National Exhibition of Amateur Theater of San Pedro del Pinatar, which will take place on Friday 8, 15, 22 and November 29th.
San Pedro del Piantar also continues with its participation in the International Puppet Festival of the TiterMurcia Region, with the representation of "A Tale of the Wind", by Pavel Smid, on Saturday, November 9, at the Youth House.
Another traditional date, on November 28, 30 and December 1, will be the charity representation of the Adapt English-speaking Association, which this year adapts the classic "Puss in Boots".
The theatrical cycle will conclude on December 13 with "Killer Whales", a comedy by María Casal, on December 13.
In the exhibitions section, the Baron de Benifayó Museum hosts until September 30 "Cuchicheos infraleves", which brings together the illustrations of Natalia Hernández.
This same space will show in October "I met him by chance", by Inocencio Medina, and "Mal Menor Mal Mayor", by Juan Ros, during the month of November.
The quarter will conclude with "Toys of Our History", an exhibition of the collection of Antonio Iborra Collado and Jerónima Lozano.
This program has the collaboration of the Friends of Museums Association.
In the Art Space of the House of Culture, the exhibition "Sensations", by Mariló García González, will be shown from September 27 to October 26, and later "To those who travel", by the photographer from Pátarense Mar Sáez.
In addition, the Department of Culture also continues this course with painting workshops, by José Semitiel;
chess workshop, taught by the Mar Menor Chess Club;
the reading club coordinated by the Red Tree and the children's animation workshops for reading, children's music (Levante Music) the offer of the municipal music school, of traditional dance, in addition to the offer of the municipal School of music.
Among other activities, the Department of Culture will also host the presentation of the books "The Curse of the Heiress", by Candel Altable, on September 27, in the House of Culture, and "A normal man" by Eva Barro , December 27th.
