The Culture Classroom of the Cajamurcia Foundation of San Pedro del Pinatar hosted the inaugural Allegro concert: Music in Urban Spaces, starring the young Cartagena interpreter, accompanied by percussionist Alejandro Solano.
The third edition of Allegro: Music in Urban Spaces, dedicated this year to the rhythms of overseas, began on Friday, October 4, with the concert 'In feminine key' of the pianist Cristina Sánchez, an act that aims to put in value and make visible the role of women in the world of culture.
The audience of the Cajamurcia Foundation Culture Classroom enjoyed this recital in which the interpreter began with Aria alla Italian way (J.SBach), Sonata in D m ​​no.33 (Haydn), Rhapsody No. 13 (Franz Liszt) and a waltz composed by the concertwoman Cristina Sánchez.
The music of the Argentine composer Piazzolla centered the bis of the recital, in which he was accompanied by Alejandro Solano, percussionist and Filón del Cante de las Minas 2019 award, together they performed Goodbye Nonino, The Death of the Angel and Buenos Aires Summer.
Cristina Sánchez (Cartagena, 1997) has participated as a soloist in the V cycle of Musical Youth of Murcia and with the Cartagena Symphony Orchestra, currently she is the pianist of the Federation of Choirs of the Region of Murcia (FECOREM) and the Young Symphony Orchestra from Cartagena (JOST).
In addition, he has won the first prize in the XV edition of the contest "Between strings and metals" (Cartagena) in the piano specialty.
In June 2019 he obtained the degree in the specialties of piano performance and choral direction with honors in the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia.
This concert opens the third edition of Allegro, an initiative that brings to the street orchestras, instrumental ensembles and choral groups and invites viewers to enjoy music in a relaxed atmosphere, pairing these concerts with the products offered by local hoteliers .
The tour will begin at snack time, at 12:00, with a Chamber Vermouth, in Luis Molina Square (in front of the Town Hall), with the concert of the metal quintment 'Thinking Brass', and the products of The Canallas .
The historic café, in the Plaza de la Constitución, from 4:30 p.m., will be run by the female vocal group of ancient music 'DeMusica Ensemble' and the day will conclude with the symphonic wine, a concert of the "City Orchestra de Orihuela "directed by Sixto Herrero, in front of the Barón de Benifayó Museum, accompanied by both musical stops by the Pedrín Pastry proposals.
This year Allegro: also opens to the children's public with Allegreto, a didactic concert on Sunday, October 6, at 12:30 pm, in the church square of Our Lady of Carmen of Lo Pagán, by GMV Big Band and bakery José Antonio.
