The Barón de Benifayó museum hosts until November 4 this exhibition in which the archenero artist reviews the life of Medina Vera, one of the most important Murcian artists of the early twentieth century.
The Councilor for Culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mª Carmen Guirao, and the archenero painter Francissco José Torrano, inaugurated on Friday, October 4, the exhibition 'I met him by chance', with watercolors that illustrate the book of the same title and that review the vital trajectory of Medina Vera.
This exhibition, which is part of the Network of Exhibition Spaces of the Institute of Cultural Industries of the Region (ICA), collects about twenty watercolors in which Torrano discovers one of the most illustrious and unknown artists of the Region, Medina Vera, since his childhood in Archena, his time as a painter and illustrator in Madrid or his American journey.
The exhibition can be visited at the Barón de Benifayó Museum until next November 4.
