The school, located in Lo Pagán, has carried out this activity to show the commitment of this school community to the salty lagoon, after the episode of environmental crisis last weekend.
Our Lady of Carmen School has made a march through the Mar Menor today, from its center to the park of Mar de Lo Pagán, with which they have asked that the whole society be involved in the respect and care of the Environment and, especially , from the Mar Menor.
Thus, in the framework of the educational project that the center develops this course, with the Mar Menor as the protagonist, during this week activities have been carried out in accordance with the primary education curriculum to promote respect and care for the Environment.
Thus, various activities have been carried out within the classroom of oral expression, written expression, reading comprehension, plastic activities ..., related to this topic, seeking to make students responsible citizens, who know how to value the nature that surrounds them and the consequences of not do it, they explain from the educational center.
The march has concluded with an event in the Parque del Mar where students of all educational levels have exhibited their murals and works and have read phrases and texts prepared by themselves, expressing their ideas or emotions about the need to care for the Mar Menor .
The act has ended with a song, first introduced by a group of students playing the flute and then singing all, a brief melody expressly composed for this act.
