The Councilor for Social Welfare, Fuensanta García, today inaugurated the digital literacy workshop, framed in the Gypsy Development Program, and which is taught in the Mentor Classroom of the Center for Social Service and Equality.
This free workshop, aimed at the gypsy group, consists of several two-hour sessions in which basic knowledge of the use of the computer and the Internet is addressed.
The objective of this training initiative, which also has the collaboration of the Department of Equality, is to guarantee equal opportunities in access to new technologies in the Roma population, while facilitating their socio-labor inclusion, reducing the digital divide in This collective.
