The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar has coordinated various activities to celebrate Children's Day as a multi-adventure day, theater, games, open days of the Children's Traffic Park or workshops at the Las Salinas Visitor Center
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Fuensanta García, today presented the activities scheduled by the City Council on the occasion of Children's Day, which is celebrated on November 20.
Fuensanta García explained that the activities began with the school drawing contest "For me and for all my classmates", aimed at children in third and fourth year of primary school, and whose first prize, awarded to Isabel Martínez of CBM Maspalomas, is the Image of this year's programming.
The program continued last Saturday with the play "A Tale of the Wind", framed in the International Theater Festival of Titeremurcia, on Friday, November 15, there is a multi-adventure day, with workshops of Hama and Origami, organized by the Department of Celebrations and Youth and the scout group Hippocampus 503.
The activities will continue on Tuesday, November 19 with the third day of sports, cooperative games at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen school, in charge of the Department of Sports, and the animation workshop to read "The Dragon Zog", in The municipal library.
On Wednesday, November 20 and International Day of the Rights of the Child, a commemorative event will be held at the City Council, which will include the reading of the manifesto of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the participation of the Municipal Council of the Childhood, in addition to the celebration of children's plenary.
During this day, the new municipal pavilion will also light blue.
The events will continue on Saturday, November 23, with open days at the Children's Traffic Park, and the workshop "Color with salt shaker", on 23 and 24, at the Visitor Center of Las Salinas.
The councilor encouraged all the children of the town to participate in this extensive program and thanked the collaboration of the different councils involved, the Council of Children, as well as the Salinas de San Pedro Regional Park and the Scout group Hippocampus 503.
