The renovated Plaza de la Constitución hosted the traditional Christmas lighting and the inauguration of the municipal nativity scene on December 5, which celebrates 25 years this Christmas.
The event began with the performance of the students of the municipal music school and the band Unión Musical who versioned Christmas carols and Christmas songs from different eras.
Subsequently, the mayor, Visitación Martínez proceeded to turn on the Christmas lights and the pastor of the church San Pedro Apóstol, Pawel Bogdan, delivered a prayer and blessed the nativity scene in front of the scene of "The Nativity".
The nativity scene, which turns 25, has been installed at the doors of the San Pedro Apóstol church, with a new translucent tent.
Among other novelties, this installation, carried out by Belenes Horadada, incorporates an allegory to the mentioned temple, as well as to the houses of the Los Pescadores neighborhood.
The scene of the Birth has also been remodeled, to commemorate this quarter century.
This nativity scene, visited during Christmas by hundreds of people, recreates various biblical passages and the birth of Christ, traditional scenes of shepherds and peasants and allegories to other emblematic buildings in the area.
Finally, he enlivened the act Fran Botía and the show "Christmas Flamenco."
