Accompanied by the Councilor for Employment and Business, Jose Antonio Munuera, and technicians from the City Council and the Institute for the Promotion of the Region (INFO), participants in the Congress, from different parts of Spain, visited the Fab-Lab 'Handicraft Laboratory Digital ', located in San Pedro del Pinatar and is considered the most technified in the Region of Murcia.
Last week Murcia hosted the second edition of the Aditiva 4.0 national congress on 3D printing, in which 500 digitalization professionals participated.
This congress aims to boost knowledge about additive manufacturing and promote the commitment of companies to adapt to the requirements of 4.0, extending to very diverse sectors.
Within the framework of this meeting, a group of participants in it visited the facilities of the Digital Craft Laboratory, Fab Lab, located in San Pedro del Pinatar.
This space is the result of the work of years of Francisco Gómez, a Pinatarense architect who began with 3D printing as a way to make the models of his own projects.
Thus, it was incorporating laser cutting technology, 3D printing, a CNC milling machine for mold manufacturing and a 3D scanner, among other machinery.
The Aditiva 4.0 forum has attracted to the Region responsible for industrial companies, technology enablers, research and innovation centers, and public and private entities throughout Spain, interested in the latest developments and developments in the sector.
