The Department of Social Welfare, through the Gypsy Development Program, has launched this week a literacy and calculation workshop aimed at adults of Roma population.
The councilor of the area, Fuensanta García, inaugurated this workshop that is developed in collaboration with the Department of Equality and the Kalochí Kaló Association, also responding to the demands transferred by this group.
This workshop will be held until next May and its objective is to provide students with the tools to acquire knowledge and educational skills that improve their quality of life and their socio-labor inclusion.
During the month of December the registration period is still open, which can be done at the Agustina Santiago Women's Social Services Center, located on Los Alcázares Street, next to the Peace Court.
