The Department of Social Welfare launches from December 23 to January 3 five workshops in the field of robotics, environment, theater, English and cinema, which aim to offer recreational activities during the holidays and deepen the conciliation.
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Fuensanta García, today presented the project "I have fun at Christmas", which is part of the Municipal Plan for Children and Adolescents, and which aims to respond to the concerns of local children and offer families a new conciliation mechanism on these dates.
The workshops will begin on December 23 with a monograph on Environment, the workshop "Do not pollute the Sea", taught by Nora Albaladejo and María Cámara, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Social Services Center, aimed at students of 4th to 6th grade of primary school and 1st of ESO.
Also on the 23rd the robotics workshop will begin, which is taught from 10:00 to 11:30 in the Center for Leisure and Emerging Arts, for iSchool programming and robotics, and that will also take place on December 26, 27 and 30 , at the Center for Leisure and Emerging Arts, for students in fourth to sixth grade who can create their own robot.
On December 26, 27 and 28, also at the Leisure Center, there will be a theater creativity workshop for students in fifth, sixth grade and first year of ESO, by Carmen Heredia, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 hours
For children from 1st to 4th grade, the workshop "Build your Christmas story in English" will be given, by Azeta, on December 23, 26 and 27, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the facilities of Superkids, in Avda. Artero Guirao 209.
In addition, to conclude this cycle, in the Social Services building the workshop "Education in values ​​through cinema" will be taught, by Lorena Bouza, from 10:00 to 12:00 and aimed at children from 4 to 6 Primary
