The Municipal Museum Barón de Benifayó has hosted the presentation of the latest novel by the Asturian writer Eva Barro, A normal man, a finalist in the Fernando Lara Prize for Novela 2017 of the Editorial Planeta.
Barro, is a native of Sotrondio-San Martín del Rey Aurelio (Asturias).
He graduated in Chemistry at the University of Oviedo and moved to Madrid, where he continues to reside and work.
She has been an associate university professor at the Complutense University of Madrid for twenty-five years and is a professor of Mathematics and Chemistry at the La Inmaculada school.
The passion for literature comes to her since she was a child, a tireless reader and a budding writer when she won the first of her many awards at age twelve at the Sol Librería Contest in her town.
In her last work, the writer tells the story of Arturo, an experienced professor of Physics, who asks for leave to abstract from reality, after losing her son who suffered from Steinert's syndrome, and perhaps analyzing it at a distance, to channel his life behind the extremes lived.
During the presentation, the Asturian writer took the opportunity to publicize her previous works, Barbara, In meek weather, A poplar in autumn or Echoes in the classroom.
