The first Pinatarense Commerce gala included the Business Trajectory award, granted by the City Council and the Union of Pinatarenses Businessmen to "La Tienda", a trade dedicated to food since 1929.
The municipal tent hosted the first Pinatarense Trade Gala on January 3, whose main objective was to recognize the effort and perseverance of local merchants and businessmen, showing proposals for the future for the sector and recognizing the trajectory of those who for decades have run their business in San Pedro del Pinatar.
Thus, the Councilor for Commerce, Javier Castejón, presented at the beginning of this gala the new image that will unify the commerce of the town "Shopping San Pedro", as well as a new web platform that will agglutinate, by sectors, the different establishments of Pinatarenses, as well such as campaigns, news and developments related to the sector.
The mayor also presented the campaign "They are not just business, it is something personal", which will include various actions throughout the year and that begins with a promotional video in which businesses, neighbors and merchants of the town are the protagonists, highlighting the close relationship between customers and sellers and the benefits of shopping in the proximity trade.
BUSINESS TRAJECTORY AWARD
Subsequently, the secretary of the Union of Pinatarenses Businessmen, José Luis Oliván, and the Councilor for Commerce presented the Business Trajectory award to "La Tienda", an establishment dedicated to food, founded in 1929 by Joaquín Martínez García, who with the He inherited Juan Martínez "Juanito" and his wife Finita Escudero and is currently run by his son Juan Adolfo Martínez Escudero.
Throughout the more than 90 years of history "the Store" has evolved, adapting to the new times, but always outstanding for the quality of its products, as well as an excellent and personalized service.
Juan Martínez "Juanito" collected this award accompanied by his granddaughters, a sample of the trajectory of this establishment that treasures three generations behind the counter.
BELENES AND ESCAPARATES AWARDS
During the gala there was also the awards ceremony of the Christmas competitions of nativity scenes and shop windows.
The jury, composed of the Festival Committee, was in charge of visiting the 11 participating nativity scenes and the 40 establishments of the showcase contest, to assess the composition, originality, color and lighting of the compositions submitted to the contest.
In the nativity contest, the first prize, endowed with 250 euros, went to Miguel Torres, while the second classified, with a prize of 150 euros, was the Lo Pagán Pensioner's Home, and the third (100 euros) went to in Ricardo Jover.
In addition, a prize of 100 euros was awarded for the best family nativity scene to Fernando Villena.
On the other hand, Miguel Florista won the first prize in the showcase contest, also endowed with 250 euros, while Centro Deportivo San Pedro won the second prize of 150 euros, and Ana Morales received the third prize, endowed with 100 euros.
The night was enlivened by the performances of Dora Helena and David Flama, also interpret the theme of the new promotional video of commerce.
