Last night, the exhibition "Mar & Plasticos. Artists by the Mar Menor" in which fifty artists from the Region of Murcia participated, opened in the exhibition hall of the Barón de Benifayó Museum.
Thus, painters, sculptors, musicians, actors, poets ... who at the end of October met at the mouth of the Rambla de El Beal to show their concern about the situation of the salt lagoon, deal with their work to raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment and contributing to the collection of waste mostly carried by the DANA and with which they have created plastic pieces that now exhibit in different areas of the Region.
Thus, the interdisciplinary exhibition is formed not only by these pieces, but also by diverse graphic documentation, photographs, videos, drawings, etc. that can now be visited in the exhibition hall of the municipal museum of San Pedro del Pinatar until February 2 and in The names of Sofia Tornero, Goyo, Petrus Borgia, Álvaro Peña, José María Garres and a long etcetera participate.
The inauguration was attended by the curator of the exhibition, Javier Lorente, accompanied by the councilor for culture of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mª Carmen Guirao, and the president of the Association Friends of Museums, Marcos David Gracia, in addition to several artists participating in the project.
