The library of the Home of the Pensioner Raimundo Benedicto of San Pedro del Pinatar, houses an exhibition of boats made by Manuel Paños Soler of 72 years and habitual user of the center.

Manuel has dedicated his whole life to the construction and decoration of plaster, but after his retirement he developed all his creativity in the elaboration of wooden boats.

Thus, piece by piece, Manuel, recreates fishing bulkheads, traditional Latin sailboats, elegant sailboats, a caravel, and Manuel dares even with the Juan Sebastián school ship The Spanish Navy canoe.
