The municipal tent last night hosted this carnival gala that started with a Kebanna dance number, which was followed by the fun battle between Don Carnal and Dońa Cuaresma, by Miguel Sánchez and Anabella Fernández, from the 'Glamorous Stars' troupe.
Subsequently, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the councilor of Festejos, Javier Castejón, delivered the Carnival Mask 2020 to this same troupe, great protagonist of the night, for her active participation in the Pinatarense Carnival, Noting for its originality, elegance and color.
The gala continued with the performance of the Chirigota del Cabezo de Torres that gave way to the presentation of the local troupes that will participate in the Sunday parade, such as Kebanna, Kebanna Kids, Housewives, The Golden Years, Infant School No. 1, ADAPT, Glamorous Stars, GĂźeno Hair, Lemon Trees, Party in the Hive and How You Want.
Thirty visitor groups will also participate.
After the spectacle of the children's ballet Kímbara, by Dolores de Pacheco, came one of the most anticipated moments of the night, the presentation of the 2020 Carnival Muse costume, Carmen Olmos, from the troupe Como Tú Quieras, and with which the Pinataranse carnival recovers this figure after a decade.
The fantasy 'Renacer', funded and elaborated entirely by the Party Commission wants to symbolize that yearned return of the muses to the local carnival, through a spectacular costume where white and blue predominates, composed of ostrich feathers, pheasant , acetate, hundreds of swarosky stones and crystal fringes.
