The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, has delivered today to the mayor of Los Alcázares, Mario Cervera, a total of 442 books for the municipal library of Los Alcázares, whose funds were severely diminished by the floods caused in the DANA of the last September.
The books assigned correspond to the bibliographic collections of the libraries of San Pedro and Lo Pagán and include titles of diverse themes, such as children, youth, novels, etc.
In addition, a small batch of new acquisition, which has been agreed with Los Alcázares technicians to avoid duplication.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar has stressed that the City Council wants to contribute with this donation to help the neighboring municipality of Los Alcázares, severely affected by the latest floods and reflect that closeness between the neighbors of the Mar Menor region.
