The City Council has intensified the fumigation and disinfection of public roads from the State of Alarm, mainly in areas close to establishments with permitted opening, nursing homes, and main streets in the town.
Since the State of Alarm was decreed by the sanitary crisis of COVID-19, the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has intensified daily the work of disinfection, cleaning and fumigation, through the concessionaires of street cleaning, the park and garden maintenance and garbage collection.
These tasks have also had, during this period, the reinforcement of environmental agents from the Autonomous Community, volunteer farmers, who spray the streets of the town every weekend, and, more recently, with a snowplow machine, from the Highway Demarcation of the State.
The objective of these works is to join efforts to mitigate and prevent the spread of the coronavirus, therefore, they are developed taking into account the recommendations of the health authorities.
These works focus on the main public roads and mainly the environment of health centers, nursing homes, establishments with permitted opening, urban furniture, waste collection points, etc.
