This closed space has been conditioned to comply with all security measures, with limited capacity, entrance control, safety distance marked on the ground between the stalls and customers and the mandatory use of a mask. The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has resumed today one of its main commercial activities, such as the weekly market on Mondays that, for the moment, has moved to the fairgrounds of San Pedro del Pinatar, with the aim of guaranteeing safety and compliance with the sanitary regulations decreed during phase 1 of Descaling and avoiding the spread of COVID19. Thus, the weekly market in San Pedro del Pinatar has 25 percent of the total stalls in this phase and, in this first phase, only the food stalls have been installed.

In addition, the capacity is restricted to 30% of the usual, so a single entrance with capacity control has been installed. The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Castejón, explained that the City Council has adapted this space so that the market can be carried out in a safe way.

Thus, a control is carried out at the entrance, where hydroalcoholic gel is provided, the use of a mask is established and the ground has been marked to ensure the safety distance between the stalls and customers who in no case may touch the products , which will be delivered to them by the clerks of the positions. This market will be held every Monday in the aforementioned Fairground, located on Calle Alcalde José María Tárraga, next to the bus station, from 08:00 to 13:30, and next Thursday, May 21, it will resume also that of Lo Pagán, which will be installed, with the same measures, on the ground soccer field located in Las Palmas street, at the same time. From the City Council it is recalled that the Alarm State is still active and that citizens must take extreme measures of hygiene and self-protection, such as keeping the interpersonal distance, the use of a mask for access to the aforementioned public places and constant hand washing .
