The Department of Commerce and Consumption of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has launched this year "Snacks That Are Cool", a contest that aims to raise awareness about the importance of making five meals a day and aimed at the whole family. The councilor of the area, Javier Castejón has explained that the participants in this contest should send a photo or a short video with a recipe for a snack to the council through the email comercio@sanpedrodelpinatar.es or by WhatsApp on the phone 607 158 845 . The objective of this initiative is to influence the benefits of a complete and balanced diet, while instilling the smallest healthy lifestyle habits and the importance of good nutrition. The jury of the contest will be made up of the nutritionist Rebeca Verdú, the Spanish champion of Squash, Cristina Gómez, and the manager of the José Antonio bakery, Patricia Pérez. The winner of the contest will get a check for 50 euros to spend in local businesses and the top ten finishers will receive a cup from the "Compras San Pedro" campaign.
