This initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of the Region of Murcia, which begins on June 15, consists of issuing discounts of 10 euros for purchases over 25 euros in member establishments. The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Miguel López Abad, today signed a collaboration agreement through which the City Council contributes 10,000 euros for the development of this commercial animation campaign, which will result in 1,000 additional discount vouchers. The Cámon campaign is a commercial animation action in which the Chamber of Murcia issues a series of vouchers redeemable for purchases worth 25 euros in affiliated stores, which include a discount of 10 euros, for which the client would pay only 15 euros. The particularity of this campaign is that the subsidized part of each bond (€ 10) is not borne by the merchant, but is financed through joint contributions from companies and collaborators. Thus, the 10,000 euros contributed by the City Council to this initiative will translate into 1,000 additional bonuses for Pinar del Río businesses that adhere to this campaign. The goal is to provide small merchants and retailers with tools to jumpstart their sales, while helping families make purchases. This campaign begins on June 15 in the stores, which will be duly identified and will offer these offers to customers, who can also consult the affiliated establishments and the bases of the campaign on the web: https://camonreactiva.es/ The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, explained that this measure is part of the "Reactivate San Pedro" Plan, which includes 75 measures, for an amount of more than 1.5 million euros, for economic and social reactivation from the town after the crisis caused by the coronavirus. "Support for small businesses is one of the fundamental pillars of this plan and, in addition to approving important fiscal measures, worth more than 400,000 euros, which include tax credits to this group such as the IBI, the IAE or a quarter of the Water consumption and sewerage, 115,000 euros will be allocated this year to initiatives aimed at supporting and promoting small businesses, "stressed the mayor. For his part, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Miguel López Abad has indicated that "this is an unprecedented initiative in the Region to help promote a return to normality in local commerce that he has barely been able to sell for almost two months".
