These actions become mandatory elements and add to the set of measures transferred by the Ministry of Health, and championed by the Ministry, for the conversion of regional tourism offices into 'safe offices' for visitors and tourism professionals.A total of 80 security screens will be installed over the next few days in the 32 tourist offices and 15 information points that are part of the Office Network and are distributed throughout 30 municipalities.Likewise, in order to promote the resumption of its activity with the highest levels of security, the tourist information offices are in the process of digitizing their content.
Thus, when they reopen to the public, they will all have QR codes through which users who have a 'smartphone' can download and obtain tourist information of interest in a matter of seconds.The Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Cristina Sánchez, visited the Tourist Office of San Pedro del Pinatar and indicated that "the 'Region of Murcia, Safe Destination' initiative begins in these offices as the first meeting point between visitors and destiny.
To do this, we have worked with technicians in the implementation of preventive hygiene-sanitary measures, while technological advances have been incorporated that offer confidence to travelers.
