The concessionary company of the municipal service for the collection of urban solid waste in San Pedro del Pinatar, in coordination with the Department of the Environment, is carrying out the renovation and replacement of containers in various areas of the town, among which the center stands out.

Given the characteristics of the urban layout in this area, with narrow streets, we have opted for front-loading containers with a pedal opening system, more comfortable and hygienic for the user on roads such as Lorenzo Morales, Reyes Católicos, Cabanaelles, Maestro Falla, Ferrero Velasco, Doctor Servet, Plaza Virgen de la Inmaculada, etc. In addition, another 30 side-loading containers, which have greater capacity, are being installed on wider roads such as Avenida Los Antolinos, La Arboleda area, Calle México, etc. The Councilor for the Environment, Silvia Egea, recalled that in recent years the renewal of containers has been carried out in a large part of the municipality.
