The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the representative of Sea World Pinatar, winner of the Nautical Activities Center (CAN), Amador Ferrer, and the president of the AD Pinatarense, Sonia Martínez, have signed today a collaboration agreement for the use of these facilities by the athletes of this association. This agreement, which is annual, establishes, among other rules, that the AD Pinatarense will have exclusive use of hangar number 1 of the CAN and that Sea World Pinatar will freely transfer the facilities of the center to 10 athletes of the association, to promote the training and education of those who compete regionally and nationally in different disciplines such as canoeing or kayaking, while for the rest of the users special quotas and prices are determined. The agreement also includes free fees for the Dragon Boat Flamenco Rosa BCS team, which will be financed 50 percent by the City Council and the Sea World Exhibition. In addition, the agreement states that the three signatory parties will agree on the calendar of sporting events to be held at the facilities in February and that a monitoring commission on this agreement will meet each month.
