This service was interrupted by the Alarm State and was resumed, with all the pertinent security measures, to carry out reports and follow-up of people in situations of dependency or the processing of other types of aid and social benefits. The Department of Social Welfare has recently resumed home visits by municipal social workers to prepare reports on dependency or to process other aid, in order to incorporate the user's situation into the Social Report necessary for the management of said benefits. Follow-up and review visits are also made to the beneficiaries of these grants, and the Family Program professionals intervene in conflictive family situations, providing support when necessary. These visits were interrupted by the State of Alarm and with them some of the steps involved, although telephone follow-ups were carried out during this period, knowing at all times the situation of each of the families in a vulnerable situation with which they intervene from the Social Services Center and providing the appropriate advice in each case. To resume home visits, the workers have personal protective equipment, which includes a mask, face shield, disposable gown, disposable gloves and disposable bootees, which are put on before entering the house and are discarded when leaving the house, following the established protocols.
