The plastic recycling project developed by Sandra and Ruben in Menor Plastic and Daniel Morales' portable disinfection chamber have been two of the 23 business initiatives of the "Speed ??UP" program, in which the Local Development Agency has also participated of the locality. The Autonomous Community, through the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia, has accelerated 23 business projects after intensive virtual training in the seventh edition of the 'Speed ??Up' program, including two initiatives by entrepreneurs from Pinar del Río. This program was closed last Tuesday, July 21 by the Minister of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, Ana Martínez Vidal, who highlighted the conceptual originality, technological specialization and good prospects for consolidation in the medium term, of new entrepreneurs, after an intense training where they have highlighted the personalized mentoring offered by members of the 'Red Punto Pyme'. Jose Antonio Munuera, Councilor for Business, Industry and Employment of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has highlighted the participation in the program of two projects of local entrepreneurs, selected from the 65 applications submitted, as well as the participation of the Local Development Agent of the City , Carlos Moreno, tutoring these projects, along with other organizations such as the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia, AJE Cartagena, AMEP, Bankia, European Business and Innovation Center of Murcia (CEEIM), the Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena (COEC ), Union of Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (Ucomur), the universities of Murcia (UMU) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). Sandra and Rubén, from Menor Plastic, detail their project: "We are able to recycle the plastic waste that you generate in your business, home or public center and transform it into new products that can be used as merchandising, decorative or educational.
Thanks to our machines we will be able to teach the recycling process from the time we collect the plastic until we transform it into a new product.
'' On the other hand, Daniel Morales explains his project, consisting of a portable Camera with UVC-LED (disinfection) with an intermediate quartz iron that avoids turning objects or food for complete disinfection in one step: "We reduce the Engineering costs for the development of UVC LED disinfection products for the sanitary, services, and agricultural sectors, product tailored to the needs of the sector.
'' The program in which these initiatives have been developed has included ten training pills and workshops, as well as personalized mentoring for entrepreneurs, working on four essential fields for the analysis of the viability of a business idea: design of business models, economic and financial analysis, marketing and communication plans. This free program has been co-financed with FEDER European Funds and is part of the CiEMP 2018-2021 Strategy for promoting entrepreneurship, coordinated by the Murcia Region Institute for Development. The Councilor for Employment has highlighted that the City Council is carrying out advisory and support work for all those people from Pinar del Río who have a business project, whatever the phase in which it may be.
