The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Mar Menor organized a mass in Honor of the Christ of the Mar Menor adapted, on this occasion, to the measures to contain the contagion of Covid 19.Thus, it was not possible to enjoy the traditional transfer, nor the field mass to which, for more than a decade, thousands of faithful have attended.
And although the appointment was not so massive or lucid, the devotion and respect of the faithful who wanted to approach the parish church of Nuestra Seńora del Carmen, in Lo Pagán, did not lack to accompany the image of the Christ of the Mar Menor.The mass, celebrated by the parish priest of Lo Pagán, Don Justo Mercader, was attended by the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the president of the Hermandad del Santísimo Cristo del Mar Menor, Mariano Visedo and the current Sister Mayor of the Brotherhood, Mari Carmen Pérez Rivera.
