| The Local Government Board has approved the improvement works in the sanitation network in the streets of San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán | The local Government Board of the San Pedro del Pinatar City Council approved this morning the granting of extraordinary social assistance to residents, businesses and companies of San Pedro del Pinatar affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Thus, 33 applications have been submitted to the call "Business Development.
Covid 19 Protection Aids", with the calculation of the approved aid amounting to 73,462.16 Euros, for aid to businesses and companies.
Regarding the return of fees to users of sports facilities, 21 applications have been submitted for a total amount of 687.96 Euros and as regards users of educational services, there are 4 requests for an amount of 359.66 Euros. Screening aid has also been granted to the hospitality sector.
Two applications have been submitted admitting 50% of the expenditure made by both, importing the amount of 1,585.10 Euros. These grants are in addition to those approved by the Governing Board last June for a total amount of 9,369 euros, which benefited more than twenty companies and 60 individuals. SANITATION NETWORK RENEWAL The local Government Board also agreed to renew the improvement in the sanitation network in some streets of San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán with a total budget of € 228,967.78.
The execution period for the works will be three months. To carry out this work, the San Pedro del Pinatar City Council has requested a grant of up to 50 percent of the cost of the project from the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function.
