The Program is taught in different educational centers in San Pedro del Pinatar with the aim of informing and educating about the risks and myths of substances, the proper use and abuse of new technologies and how to detect and prevent addiction to gamblingThe Department of Social Welfare of the San Pedro del Pinatar City Council, subsidizes a program for the prevention of addictions with and without substances that is taught to students of Basic FP and Special Modality FP from different educational centers in the town.This program, taught by Proyecto Hombre Murcia, aims to avoid and / or delay the use of drugs and other addictive behaviors in students in addition to developing a critical attitude towards drug use and other risky behaviors and favoring the process of taking decision making.Through these workshops, healthier leisure alternatives are generated among young people, the student's own risk and protection factors are reflected on, the development of skills to resist group pressure is favored and families are empowered as main agents youth drug use preventives.
