| The activity has been given at IES Dos Mares through videoconference to 4th year ESO students who are taking the subject "Initiation to entrepreneurial activity" | The Local Development Agency of the Department of Employment, within the framework of its activities to promote entrepreneurship, has given a videoconference at IES Dos Mares to 4th year ESO students who are taking the subject of 'Initiation to entrepreneurial activity '.On this occasion, Carlos Moreno, Employment and Local Development Agent of the City Council has exposed to the students the work of the Agency on entrepreneurship issues.
The Agency is a municipal service where entrepreneurs can find support for their projects at whatever stage they are in.
Annually more than 50 projects are supervised according to the demands of their promoters, from the validation of the idea, to the first steps to take, the search for grants, financing, and everything that has to do with the start-up of your project business.The students were able to follow the videoconference workshop on entrepreneurship from their homes and from a classroom set up for the occasion.
And they learned about a successful case of local entrepreneurs, Menor Plastic, a circular economy project promoted by Sandra Fernández, a graduate in Environmental Sciences, and Rubén García, web designer, based on the artisanal manufacture of recycled plastic products, recovered from the beaches of the Mar Menor, the Mediterranean Sea and its surroundings.The students were very interested in the project and were able to ask about different aspects of it, how the idea came to them, what have been the main problems they have encountered, how they have been financed, etc.The Local Development Agency is a municipal service where entrepreneurs can find support for their projects at whatever stage they are in.
