| Young people from Pinar del Río will soon be able to enjoy a Leisure, Free Time and Emerging Arts Center, completely renovated and adapted to their needs as a result of the most voted project in the Participatory Budgets 2019 | The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, accompanied by the Councilor for Youth, Javier Castejón, has visited the improvements that are being carried out in the Center for Leisure, Free Time and Emerging Arts Juan Martínez Juliá as a result of the Budgets Participative 2019. Thus, according to the proposal that obtained the greatest reception from the residents, the center has been painted and LED lighting has been installed, with low consumption, which allows great energy savings. In addition, a dynamic outdoor auditorium with backlit shade has been created, and the exteriors have been leveled to make them more accessible and more active.
A healthy leisure area has been arranged outside the center for the development of physical activities, calisthenics, etc. These modernization actions are valued at 200,000 euros and mean that local youth and other groups have a more adapted space for the development of different events and activities.
