The action is subsidized by grants for non-productive projects from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund before the Local Action Group for Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia (GALPEMUR)San Pedro del Pinatar has presented the Pinatar Employment Networking Acuipesc project, which aims to reduce the unemployment rate and improve the employability of the unemployed group of the municipality, giving priority to the unemployed group of the fishing and aquaculture sector, being subsidized by aid for projects non-productive of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund before the Local Fisheries and Aquaculture Action Group of the Murcia Region (GALPEMUR) Project financed by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund by 85% and by the Region of Murcia by 15%.They have participated in the presentation, Visitación Martínez, mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, José Antonio Munuera, Councilor for Employment, and Inmaculada Torres, manager of GALPEMUR.
Also present were Maria del Mar Morales, president of IFEMAR and José Hernandez, of Dos Veces Marketing, developer of the website that was presented today.Martínez recalled that this project is developed based on the San Pedro Economic Reactivation Plan approved in plenary by all the political parties of the municipality, and that it is focused on the implementation of two actions.
On the one hand, that of a Virtual Service of professional orientation of proximity and quality, to increase the employability possibilities of job seekers in San Pedro, especially in the sectors of tourism, auxiliary services and maritime-fishing, action taken to carried out by IFEMAR Mar Menor, a non-profit association based in San Pedro.
As a second action, the creation of a website and Digital Networking with the implementation of the Employment, Training and Company website and a proposal for courses through a digital platform in the maritime-fishing family sector.With this project and after being aware of the existing digital divide and the unfavorable consequences that it has had in this health crisis, the scarce computer literacy and digital skills, and the need to have a website where all the resources generated to favor the accessibility of users, the incorporation in the project of this action arises to improve the conditions of our citizens, whether they are unemployed, active workers, associations, companies or entrepreneurs.
Reduce the digital gap in the municipality, especially in sectors such as fishing and aquaculture and enhance employability and the improvement of employment and self-employment resources in our municipality.
