On October 21, at the request of the 1st Deputy Mayor, Ms.
Angela Gaona, a meeting took place in municipal offices between the promoter of the Pinatar Arena project and the owners of the land adjacent to the project. At the meeting, the construction plan for a 5-star hotel called Pinatar Arena was announced, which will foreseeably be located in the town of Los Imbernones.
During the development of this meeting, which was also attended by owners of the neighboring lands, the space that was to be occupied and the facilities that the hotel would have was explained in detail.
The surprise is that, as attached in the photographs, the entrance to the hotel facilities is planned to be through an entrance that does NOT currently exist and belongs to the owners of the neighboring lands.
Said owners, put on record and insisted that they would NOT give up their land as they have let us know to VOX.We are aware that after presenting the project, the environmental impact that it will entail and having the "approval of the city council", the owners of the land have not received any type of offer or request from the developer until today.
.
Let us remember that it has the admission for processing by the city council, to start the construction of this 5-star hotel. Now that we know that Ms.
Angela Gaona is aware that the promoter does not have the relevant land to fully develop the project, what hidden plan is there? Why is the project going ahead despite the refusal of the landowners? From Vox San Pedro, we doubt the legality of a project that has third-party land and that the city council is aware of it and, however, allows its "use" knowing that they are NOT owned by the developer and that the owners do not use them.
to yield. Is it legal? we asked ourselves from the municipal group of Vox.
