Thus, the Social Worker of Alcer Sureste has presented the project Active expert patient in kidney patients in San Pedro del Pinatar and COVID-19, to try to raise awareness about the most common problems and demands of kidney patients in the Municipality.
The importance of having multidisciplinary teams of social workers, nutritionists, psychologists to help the changes experienced by the patient who must be treated with dialysis and the previous phases. The AFAL Association Manager has explained the needs of those affected with dementias and Alzheimer's as well as the lives of their relatives, and how this association offers its support with teams of psychologists, physiotherapists , social workers, to carry out interventions and attend to these pathologies that make life so difficult for the people who suffer from them and for the relatives who live with these patients. The director of AFEMAR, thanked the subsidy granted to people with mental illness, and stressed that the project they carry out, "flower path", is very beneficial for users by betting on carrying out small gardening activities ¿½a to promote the autonomy of those affected and promote their well-being.
