The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, accompanied the self-taught artist, Maria Angeles Lopez in the opening of its fourth exhibition, "Colors of the Mar Menor", which can be enjoyed in the dining rooms Venezuela since last night until 28 February.
Visitation highlighted the evolution of the work of Maria Angeles, who like good pinatarenses, granddaughter and daughter of fishermen, reflected in his paintings the warm light of our sunsets, his pictures featuring beautiful corners smelling of salt, anchored boats, stylized flamingos , sea nuances marked by winds combing our lagoon.
Maria Angeles, which was accompanied by many neighbors and friends, admitted painted twenty oils that compose "Colores del Mar Menor" in just six months, inspired by the icons of San Pedro, Mill Quentin, weirs, which I finally got to know (thus fulfilling a dream), fishermen boats, the lateen, pheasants, spas, salt and so on showing the best of our environment and the passion of an artist consists of beauty, colors and lights marmenorenses waters.
The artist has exhibited in other walls, Social work CajaMurcia Jose Antonio Gallery, the English Court and now the halls of Restaurante Venezuela who Mª Angeles feels very close, so last night were presented with a canvas picked, Fernanda Hernández , visibly moved, on behalf of the whole family.
