The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, visited with the president of the Association of Friends of the Museums of San Pedro del Pinatar, Jose Lorente and the Cabildo of the Superior Council of brotherhoods of Easter, Mariano Visedo, exposure on Easter pinatarense "Easter Sunday" that exposed until March 31 at the Exhibition Hall of the Museum Baron Benifayó.
The exhibition shows photographs from 1950 to 1970, which faithfully represent the evolution of pinatarense passion for their Easter.
The beautiful images are complemented by costumes of the different steps and brotherhoods participating in the processions, parades in the region famous for being the unique Mar Menor.
Original posters Easter, are a legacy of our recent history, being the oldest in the year 1967 to the 1997.También there handbills since 1989 and proclamations from different years.
To the above, the old banners of some brotherhoods, as well as documents of the Cabildo, books and a photo album Easter which can be consulted in the Exhibition Hall for visitors and neighbors admire the uniqueness of the processions add seafaring spirit.
The exhibition is completed with the screening of a video of the Easter of San Pedro del Pinatar held to mark the Day of the Nazarene in 2010.
