This exchange is intended specifically address the behaviors and healthy behaviors in young people focused on sport, nutrition and health.

Youth Councilman San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejon and the mayor of San Javier Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa, today presented the "Getting Better Together" project of European youth exchanges within the Erasmus + program.

Javier Castejon commented that this time, involving 45 young people from countries Sweden, Italy, Poland and Spain as host country.

The exchange will take place from 22 to 30 June, although during this March has already begun with the awareness campaign and information in the participating countries on the subject to be treated in the exchange, and will end in December with the presentation of the report and the results of the youth project "Better geting together".

Masegosa Estíbaliz recalled that in 2013, the municipalities of Mar Menor participated for the first time together on such projects, fuel called "UNITED" with Italy, Spain and Sweden in the hostel of the Valley.

The following year he worked as a partner in Sweden, and in 2015 with Italy (Todi), and with Turkey as a country invitado.El Exchange, organized by youth of the region of Mar Menor with the collaboration and monitoring of youth councils of San Pedro del Pinatar and San Javier, aims to address the behaviors and healthy behaviors in young participants, aged 15 to 19 years old, focused on sport, nutrition and health, with the aim of meeting the healthy lifestyles in different countries where the project is developed.

To this is added the participants to improve the mastery of foreign languages ​​to interact in different environments and contexts know and understand different cultures and improve their social skills, working together with young people from other places and carry out cultural activities and excursions, all focused from aspects and healthy behaviors, explained Castejon.

Finally, both deputies have influenced the great experience that has meant for the young participants in previous editions such exchanges also help them to get closer to Europe and understand it in a different way.
