The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez and the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, acknowledged this morning attitude and excellent work of 11 students, five of high school and six college, as shown by their academic results.
Visitation Martinez said that the City Council has joined in recent years educational aids to excellence, in order to encourage and recognize academic achievement and culture of merit.
The mayor stressed that "it is the job of management to promote values ​​such as perseverance, effort, tenacity and passion for what you do, elements that students recognized have made achieving excellence in academia."
The purpose of this award is to reward students who have finished high school and enrolled in a university degree with excellent grades to encourage them to continue with his brilliant career, and gratify the added effort involved aspire to the highest scores.
