The photograph of Antonio Jose Rodriguez Traverso was the winner of this contest organized by the Department of Tourism and the General Council of Easter processions, with the aim of promoting the Easter pinatarense.
The Department of Tourism of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar and
the General Council of Easter processions organized a photo contest this year with the intention of promoting and spreading the Holy Week processions, declared of Interest
Regional tourism.
The jury of experts in photography and related to Easter the municipality members, has released its
failure between the photographs presented in the competition, with the winning image that made by Antonio Jose Rodriguez Traverso, which highlights the figure of the Nazarene Brotherhood of San Juan Evangelista.
This photograph, taken on the night of March 24, during the procession of Jesus' encounter with the Blessed Mother in the street of Bitterness, represents the work and devotion of the Nazarenes during the processional events of Holy Week pinatarense.
The chosen picture will be played in a prominent place in the next brochure "Easter San Pedro del Pinatar in the Mar Menor" next to the name of the author, to be released to promote and spread this party in 2017.
The Department of Tourism and the General Council of Processions thanks all residents and tourists participants sending their photographs and their contribution to promoting and spreading the Easter pinatarense.
