The Directorate General for the Environment, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, has organized in the Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales of San Pedro del Pinatar, for next Sunday 8 May, a special event to mark the World Day migratory birds.
10 to 13.30 hours Sunday Visitor Centre "Las Salinas" proposes an activity to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day: "Mother Nature".
In the Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales of San Pedro del Pinatar, will be held a sighting with binoculars and telescope, the summer visitors each year choose this Regional Park as mandatory stop and discovering the birds that migrate to breed in the Regional park and the relationship between chicks and their mothers.
The activity is intended for the general public.

Friendly energy birds
The World Day of migratory birds has been held since 2006 in the framework of two international wildlife treaties administered by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
To do awareness campaigns on the need to conserve these birds and their habitats are organized.
