San Pedro del Pinatar, with over 13 kilometers of coastline in the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, will this year with three blue flags, the beaches of La Puntica and Villananitos adds El Mojon.

This is an award ecocalidad tour, promoted by the World Tourism Organization (WTO) and the United Nations Program for Environment (UNEP).

The Blue Flag, awarded by the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (eco), is an award to the environmental quality of beaches and marinas that rewards compliance with standards for quality of bathing water, environmental education and information , environmental management and safety, services and facilities.
