For this edition, held from 16 to 18 June, the junior category is created for young people up to 17 years and increase up to 12 awards.
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, accompanied by the Director General of Youth, Franciscos Sanchez and Councilman Celebration and Youth, Javier Castejón, presented the Talent Contest organized by the Department of Youth.
Beside them, the composer and singer Pedro Contreras, Salva Ortega, have had their experience as jury which celebrates its fifth edition.
Visitation Martinez recalled that the talent was born with the intent to promote and reward creativity, originality and artistic talents of young people.
The mayor also stressed that this year, the talent is part of Program Festivities and will be held on the campus of rocks day 16 and June 17 with the semifinals and June 18 with the final.
The youth council has been responsible for shelling the contest in which any form or specialty related to dancing is allowed, music and entertainment in general, can participate either individually, in pairs or in groups of no more than 10 members.
It has also indicated that this year as a novelty the junior category is created for young people under 17 years.
For its part, the General Director of Youth praised the effort from the consistory is made to be close to young people and respond to their needs, not just gestures, which are important, also with interesting prize money, a total of 12, two awards more than last year.
Thus, in the adult category and the musical form and the dancing and entertainment, prizes will be of 600 €, 300 € and 150 € for the first, second and third in each category.
For the Junior category prizes are € 400, € 200 and € 100 in the dance and show and equal in music mode mode.
Both Pedro Contreras as Salva Ortega, who closed the press conference V Talent Contest "You really worth" with a musical performance, repeated this year as jurors and highlighted the quality of the participants in previous editions as well as the success in the creation of the junior category, "always looking to improve the format of competition that has given so much joy to participants and spectators."
