The youth hostel science camp host the "Food for a healthy life, Ali-Science", and the Center for Social Services and Women will host the workshop on "biomedicine and quality of life."
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, director of the Universidad Internacional del Mar, Raquel Sanchez Ibanez, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia and directors of the courses that are taught in the town, presented today the training offered in the municipality of this institution, part of the University of Murcia, in the months of June and September.
Visitation Martinez stressed the close collaboration of the Universidad Internacional del Mar (UNIMAR) with the city of San Pedro del Pinatar and praised the outreach work carried out by the university through initiatives like this that expands the training offered by the town, college gets closer to citizens and helps show the main attractions of San Pedro del Pinatar participants of the courses.
For its part, the director of the Universidad del Mar thanked the City Council collaboration in the thirty-third edition of the summer courses have been underway in the town 18 years and has said that this year the offer again includes a science camp students of 3rd and 4th of ESO and high school students that aims to search for scientific vocations from an entertaining and close perspective, an activity to be held from June 27 to July 1 and pointed out that further repeat workshop biomedicine and quality of life, which was very well received in the last edition and in which the milestones are analyzed to achieve a better life.
This workshop will be held in the Social Services Centre from 6 to 9 September.
These courses, said Rachel, to learn how to care for yourself and those around us with entertaining workshops and scientific rigor.
The director of scientific camp, Maria del Carmen Martinez Graciá, said that this camp will also include scientific and various workshops such as food labeling or cooking taught by Nacho Abellán activities, cooking with fruits by Juan Antonio Pellicer and other playfulness, as water activities in the Mar Menor, sports days in Pinatar Arena and visits to the fish market and Arenales Regional Park and Salinas de San Pedro.
Finally, the workshop on quality of life, is informative and multidisciplinary character to make it accessible to all audiences and in different aspects are addressed to achieve a better quality of life.
This workshop will create an appropriate forum for analysis, debate and discussion on possible views concerning the scheduled issues.
